Dearborn County Land Trusts
George Rogers Clark Land Trust
The mission of George Rogers Clark Land Trust is to preserve and protect the working lands and rural character of Southeastern Indiana for now and into the future. We help landowners in Southern Indiana protect their working and natural lands though easements and other means.
Oxbow, Inc.
Oxbow’s mission is to protect and improve the Oxbow floodplain (also known as Horseshoe Bottoms) in southeast Indiana and southwest Ohio. We work to establish productive habitat at the confluence of the Great Miami and Ohio Rivers that provides breeding sites, shelter, food, and resting places for the thousands of species that thrive in the floodplain, as well as preventing development.
The Nature Conservancy
The Nature Conservancy is one of the leading global conservation organizations, working to create a world where people and nature can thrive. Since 1959, The Nature Conservancy in Indiana has helped to protect more than 100,000 acres of forests, wetlands, prairies, lakes and streams and maintains more than 70 nature preserves across the state.
